Velux window wood rotting?

On one of my Veluxes the wood is starting to rot, see attachments. At present it's still sound so I'd like to fix it before it properly rots and goes soft.

Any idea what I should look at? Do Velux service these windows?

That's generally a sign that the window was poorly fitted in the first place, ie not using foil backed plasterboard around the reveals & not fitting the insulated collar leaving cold voids to which condensation forms leading to premature rotting of the frames. Velux won't come and repair your skylight but they do a repair kit ZZZ 176KI although yours look like they may need a hardener & filler painting on once the old rot has been removed.
