Trump is bedwetting about the decline of the petrodollar, forget about WMDs, nuclear weapons , drug smuggling and Islamic terrorism, the biggest threat to America is the dumping of the dollar by country's that no longer trust the U.S. as a reliable trade partner.
America's ability to run huge to deficits is based on the dollar as world reserve currency, the world is using the dollar less and less, every percentage point drop in the use of the dollar internationally costs the Americans 350 billion.
If the world stops buying American debt , then America is funked along with Europe.

It’s definitely part of Chinnas long term plan to weaken the dollar, however countries that buy debt in dollars make it more expensive because of the dollar’s strength

Part of the reason for America delaying joining the war, was the financial assistance Hitler was receiving from his American backers. Those people with political clout obviously had a dilemma, join the war! lose your investment!
