Hi
I am currently boarding out the loft and I am wondering aboutthe correctway to ventilate.
I have put laths attached to the sides of the rafters and then Thermaboard between the rafters for insulation giving me a 50mm airflow, then avapour barrier and finaly a plasterboard finish.
Between the rafters are bricks up to the tiles above the outside skin of the wall. There is no felt under the tiles.
My question is do I need additional ventilation or will the existing tile lay out give me the 25mm/ 5mm per metre gap (at eave and ridge respectively)
Any advice will be greatly recieved.
cheers
