Our house had a veritas 8 alarm installed when we purchased it and we have rarely used it since moving in.
I pulled out all the stops tonight and set the alarm off by opening the main panel. Having forgot our PIN I spent what seemed like a lifetime scouring the net for info on resetting the system.
Having succesfully reset it (I think!) I noticed that the external box has 2 alternating green lights. To be honest I have never paid much attention to the system and I am not sure if this is normal or not, should the green lights be on? (which they are?)
Originally I thought these had to be reset but now I am not so sure, I have changed the PIN and managed to succesfully set and disarm the alarm so I think its working fine, just not 100% sure about these 2 green lights.
