Verizon Alarm dont know the code...help!

Hi Everyone

I have just bought a house and the previous owner doesnt know the code for the verizon alarm (picture attached). The sensors for the alarm are working but any idea how I can reset without know the current alarm code? I thought I would try on here first before calling out an engineer but was hoping that there is an expert on this forum that can help me

That's a texecom veritas alarm .....standard default code 4321, it can be defaulted IF NOT LOCKED , but it will need reprogramming , a replacement panel around £40 plus vat

Thanks sparkymarka let me try 4321 to see if it works. Are the panels easy to replace or would I need to get an engineer?

It's not hard to replace it's just the programming as every job is different , it's needs programming to the layout of the house and what devices are connected to it ....

Just a point ....did you buy the house with a working alarm ? As most house sales will ask if certain items are included and working !

Its a house I have bought to rent out. It says the alarm works but the previous owners dont know the code so am assuming the last tenants changed it.
