Hi we are currently having an extension done, the bricks we are using are 73mm, I intend to have above the windows on the lintels vertical bricks going across maybe at the bottom too, is it possible to use these 73mm bricks or do I need to choose a different size?

I would’ve thought the brick length would matter not the height.

Imperial bricks are usually 225-230mm long and 67mm to 73mm high

a catnic type lintel is typically designed for a 215mm metric brick which equates to 3 brick courses.

The lenght of the brick is 215mm, so how would this work? Making the beds slimmer on the 3 courses were the vertical bricks will be going?

It's easier to use an Imperial tape to gauge Imperial bricks. 73mm is 2 7/8 inches and 4 to 13 inches with a 3/8 joint.
67mm is 2 5/8 inches and 4 to the boot.
