Vertical radiator v traditional

Hi everyone, I'm hoping to learn something on here! Loads of questions as like most people I am improving instead of selling. So benefit of your advice please. Thinkin of having a vertical rad in my front room mainly due to space and furniture layout. Are they as efficient as trad ones???? Hope to hear from you *experts" out there.

On paper, it would appear they are similar.

In practice, the heat distribution in the room tends to be biased towards the ceiling and not the floor. So you can look forward to cold feet in the pursuit of fashion.
