Vertical wall brick tiles tips

i was planning to install wall tile in home to give the walls a good look. is the wall tile installation is similar to installing tiles on the floor.

how does the surface need to prepared for installing wall brick tiles.. do i need some concrete support or anything else..

Hello,
If you are installing faux brick then the recommended installation is to cover the surface with a waterproof tar paper, overlay that with chicken wire and use a mortar purposefully designed for the brick.
When laying the bricks put some mortar onto the wall, apply a small amount to the brick and push into place.
When you've completed the wall use a cake icing bag to apply mortar to the joints.
