As the title... I have a Leibherr 2 piece fridge freezer and the fridge side has started being very loud (a buzzing). It stops immediately we open the door, which seems odd.
Any ideas? Thanks

That is what I was thinking which is why I asked what happens if you actuate the door switch while it's open.it could be side or back contact on surfaces causing vibration and when you open the door it moves the weight distribution stopping the points off contact have you tried wiggling pushing/pulling /squigling the carcase to reduce surface vibration even fingers in-between edges to work out where the noise is??

Tried all that, to no avail. According to E-spares the ops model does have a door switch. There is no obvious door contact on my new upright freezer, but it obviously detects the door being opened, because if the door is opened when the air circulation fan is running - the fan is stopped.
I can't find the bugger!According to E-spares the ops model does have a door switch.
It’s probably magnetic (top of door ).So not visible .I can't find the bugger!
