Hi,

Have just bought a new light and wanted to check my thinking is right on the wiring.

Currently it has a normal ceiling rose set up, and the new light is indepentant so have to remove the rose etc.

Is the below the correct set up i should use. The light does have terminal blocks in it. Also does it matter which brown wire (live ?? ) goes either side of the terminal block.

Sorry if this is answered elsewhere.

Many thanks

Yes pal, that is correct. It doesn't matter which side of the terminal block the wires go in.

Don't forget to mark the switched live with a bit of brown sleeving or tape. :)

Perfect,

Thank you mate.... Thought as much...but always nice to have that comfort factor ! :)

Got the brown tape poised and ready !!!

Thanks again.
