victorian stripped doors

Hi,

I have victorian stripped pine doors that currently are just plain wood. Any adice on how I can spruvce them up - was thinking to oil them, but heard that oil goes yellow with time - whats my options

You can use wax or varnish..personally I think is horrible

Eggshell varnish IMO gives a very nice finish and it looks similar to wax..but it more durable
