Video doorbell - that don't need a subscription payment

I wan't to get a video doorbell.
I don't want to fall into the trap of having to pay a monthly subscription.

But there seems to be zero choice?

ALL others seem to be cheap Chinese makes.

Also... battery or wired? My gut instinct says wired?
But this need me drilling at an awkward angle on the outside wall on the door.
Any thoughts?

You could have a look at the ds-kis603-p-b hikvision system it more of a proper intercom system but does link with a mobile app.

I looked up.
I would consider.
But 2 things...
Firstly, I need to be white!
Secondly, I want to be small.
Nearly ALL the ones I've seen look like gigantic thick mobile phone sizes.
I'm thinking of going for a white Google one now. I read somewhere that has a limited amount of local storage.
