Videx handset not working

Hi,

I just moved into my apartment and the Videx handset isn't working. I'm unsure of the model. I can hear outside the apartment through the receiver, but cannot be heard from the other side. The door opening system doesn't seem to work, and it doesn't ring... I don't have a clue about this sort of thing, but I have attached an image below
