Hi,

the wires went off inside a VIDEX handset, so they cannot hear us and we cannot hear them.

Please see the photos:

1. Where should I connect (solder?) the BLUE (A) and RED (B) wires?
2. Also, I wired both BLUES to the speaker, was that correct?

Thank you!

Can you upload a photo of the connector on the main board and the board/circuit.

Thanks,

This is the main board, if it helps:

Can you please tell me which wire goes where, based on the labeling here?

Thanks again!

So, based on soarkymarka I should have put the RED wire to "SPEAKER1" and take the BLUE wire from there and put it to "MIC1".

Correct?

I did this and the speaker does work, but not the MIC.

How can I test whether the mic works or not? With a polymeter or something?

Based on blue being common ground:

White - Mic2
Blue Wire A - Mic1
Blue Wire in Speaker 1 - Move to Speaker 2 (Leave the existing blue in speaker 2)
Red Wire B - Speaker 1

Thanks! This is what I did.

Unfortunately, the MIC seems not to be working, the other person does not hear what we are saying.

So, one last question. How may I test if the MIC is problematic OR something else happens centrally in the building?

Ask other tenants if they are having issues it will be the speech amp in the panel
