My latest screw up!
I've been at a customer today who was reporting "metallic" noises when they were running their heating. I eventually isolated the problem to some debris in the pump, I reinstalled the circulating pump and the noise has gone, however I've got a slight weep from the gasket seal. I gave it a bit more of a tighten but to no avail and don't want to tighten it anymore!
Does anyone know what the size of the seal is or if there is a part number for the gasket only, I tried PTS but they don't have the boiler on their database and the person I spoke to at Viessmann said that I needed a new pump. I can't believe a manufacturer would not sell the gasket seperately.
Can anyone advise?
