We have old floorboards, wife wants something like these in the hallway - I don't want to stick so might see if I can find click flooring. What is best to put them on - we have old floorboards, not great condition. Just standard roll up insulation / underlay, or thicker underlay sheets? Or just ply? The floor is insulated with kingspan, so insulated underlay not vital
Or maybe I should just get the stick down ones?
Only reason to do less sticking is if we ever need to access electrics or plumbing under the floor - hopefully they will not need updating in my lifetime though ...
