vinyl over ceramic tiles

Hello,

I will be installing vinyl tiles over existing ceramic tiles.
I have a couple of questions:

1) do i need to level the whole floor or just the grout lines and if so which product is best?

2) do i need to prime the existing floor and if so which is the best product to use?

I have considered lifting the tiles but opted out of this.

i suppose you could lay self leveler over the tiles first.
