Visonic KP-160 Touch panel: firmware upgrade possible?

Hi.
Does anybody here know if it's possible to upgrade the firmware inside a Visonic KP-160 Touch panel (the pretty one without physical buttons)?

The reason I'm asking is that it seems that the latest version of this can accept not only proxy tags but also codes. The previous version only accept proxy tags, which is a bit of a letdown.

My hope is that a firmware upgrade (if at all possible) could remedy this.

Does anyone know?

I'm sure they do know. However Visonic won't answer questions from us mere mortals (end users) about these things.

I'll have a quick browse of the associated manuals, if I spot what you want, I'll post again.

Oh, by the way, the 'mere mortals' bit, it's called security, the better manufacturers will not talk to the gen. public, rightly so.
