hello,

i have a vokera linea 28 bolier.

i got was topping up the water pressure using as instructed in the user guide (6.3.2.4 point iii) and have accidently pressurised the system to 2.5 bar rather than 1.5.

in the user guide point 6.3.4.3 it states:

"To lower the system pressure to the required value, pull lever on the head of safety valve (22) a quarter turn to release water until the figure registers on the gauge (19)."

Now before i go and do this i need to know:

1) if it is easy,
2) should i do this myself?
3) what tools do i need?
4) and is it a defenite no no?
5) what a safety valve looks like.

There is something odd about this ladies apparent refusal to follow the simple advice given.
