Hi All
I have recently had my boiler serviced and explained to the engineer that it has been making a loud buzzing/humming noise at times when the heating is on, can last between 10 seconds and a few minutes at a time. The only way to stop the noise is by turning the boiler off or turning a tap on. When the boiler is turned back on the noise is not there but will happen again at some stage. Engineer never heard the noise and therefore couldn't comment on what it could be but did say the boiler looked in good condition.
Anyone have any idea what could be causing the noise?
