Vokera linea 24 hot water and ch not getting up to temp

Had problem with hot water going hot /cold .flushed system out,now central heating playing up.cannot get heating to remain on and rads are luke warm any ideas to whats going on. does any one know of a vokera engineer in the southend/essex area. thanks

vent the system vent the pump
check the auto air vent on the boiler is open

Thanks for the advice central heating works fine,no luck with the hot water it runs up to 45 starts banging and shuts down although the noise is coming from the top heat exchanger

sec heat ex is (to use a tech term) full of cr*p try cleaning it
if the top one is banging it cant lose the heat fast enough

Thanks for the advice.if i remove the hot water heat exchanger whats the best way of cleaning it

shouldnt tell you this i use hydrocloric acid
put the acid in a bucket and gently lower the h/e in BE VERY CAREFUL

hydrochloric acid seems a bit drastic is there anything else

could try formic acid (kettle descaler)
but wont bet on it working

ok but where can i get hold of hydrochoric acid in such a large quantity

you only need a pint not exactly hard to get hold of
having said that this is a hard water area
