Hi all,

Hope you can help!

I have a Vokera Linea 24 combi boiler that has ben no trouble UNTIL all power disappeard from it.

No lights, no display, nada.

I checked switch and switch fuse and it worked fine so that's not the problem.

I opened her up and found a BLOWN fuse on the pcb. I replaced it, turned the power back on and it blew again.

My Dad reckons it could be the low voltage transformer?

How do I find out what is causing it? Is it easy to place parts myself, or shall I get a professional in? Please tell me I don't need a new boiler!

Thanks!
Liz

Also for reference, this is the fuse that blew.

(thats not my actual pcb as mine is stall attached! I just googled images of vokera linea 24 pcbs!)

Carry out electrical checks (eg, continuity, resistance, polarity etc) using a multimeter to establish which component(s) is/are faulty.

Hi Tibbot,

Thanks for your reply. Ok will do. Any suggestions as to what might be a likely culprit for that fuse?

Helpful to know where to start...

Thanks,
Liz

Any part short ciruiting could do it including pump, fan, gas valve. It's trace & repair/replace. Unfortunately many parts will be gas safety critical and require a competent person to change.
