vokera riello loosing pressure, how to figure out why?

Thanks for taking the time to reply, appreciate it.
I have noticed when a certain radiator is turned off the boiler pressure remains stable, I am wondering if maybe theres a leak in a pipe maybe under the floor board which leads to only this radiator and when this radiator is off theres no flow of hot water to this radiator pipe which therefore means theres no water leaking and thats why the boiler pressure remains stable when this radiator is turned off? There is no leak from this radiator that I can see? Is this possible what I am suggesting? or not? maybe just a coincidence? I don't know how it all works.

Having searched around, looks like MAYBE the copper pipe under the kitchen sink may have a drip leak, is it possible this could be the issue?

Thanks, the pipe was warm, what does this mean?

It had a small drop of water coming from it which I have no idea where it was coming from as the rest of pipe was totally dry, there was no hole I could feel where the water drop was?

Heating off and make sure that pipe is cool. Then run hot water. See if the pipe gets hot. If not turn heating on and see if it gets hot. This will determine if it is a DHW or CH pipe.

Then check if it's leaking or if there is a leak above dripping onto it. You'll have to do your own detective work as we cannot do it from here!

Thanks I also noticed little kind of condensation drops at the top inside of this white cap I took off radiator bolt, is this normal. see pics, you can see the water if you look closely inside cap. Can I also ask which direction I turn the bolts on this to tighten them? ie clockwise or anticlock wise? thanks

Radiator bolts? Do you mean valves?
Can't see why there'd be condensation inside the caps! Leave caps off and dry the valves with tissue. If they get wet again, there could be a weep from the valve but it's usually pretty obvious and would have to be extensive to drop your system pressure over a short space of time.

One of those caps looks like a decorator cap for a TRV head! Can you post a photo of the valve that this cap came off? And its better to upload photos directly to your post on this forum. Just click the "upload a file" button.

either that or find something else to worry about, 3 pages on a pressure drop !!!!!

Thanks, I have put a freezer bag around and under and where the the cooper pipe meets the back wall which I presume goes outside, its the only pipe I can find that goes though the back wall. It was indeed the pipe which the receiver thermostat is sitting on , on this picture:

Did you put the freezer bag on the pipe INSIDE your house or OUTSIDE your house?! Sounds to me like you put it inside which is not what you needed to do.

3 pages on a pressure drop! do you think I am enjoying this? honestly it was down to 0.1 bar now, Ive had a vokera guy out and a plumber out and no one has fixed this darn issue yet, I just dont have the time or want the stress of this. WHy can it not be something like anything else that goes wrong that you can just call someone and get it fixed or fix it yourself. A wind up!!!! Yes this is ****** wind up this situation with this ****** boiler.

I did put the freezer bag on the inside as I live in a block of flats and do not have a ladder that would go anywhere near to the height I need to get to.

Here is a photo of the valve that this cap came off.

nope that is a lockshield valve and you wouldnt need a decorators cap for that, and where did you put the freezer bag on the inside ???? if you cant get to the outlet you will either have to cut the pipe inside or disconnect from the boiler

Well my heating has been off ie the heating ie rads dont come on unless it gets below a certain temperature in the house and rads not been on since April and the boiler has stayed at exactly the same spot 1bar , until now (Sept) the heating has been back on for the last week and the boiler pressure has dropped to 0.5 bars!!
An engineer has checked the boiler over and can not find any fault with the boiler and no leaks from the boiler.

What could this indicate where the fault lyes?
