hi we have had a vsmart for a week.all day the tempreture is set @ 22. It's struggling to reach 22. In the last 4 hours it's been stuck @ 21
Yes it needs 2 week to train itself! It’s excellent. If you got a modern vaillant you can’t beat it as it has weather compensation.
It gets temp very accurate, tells you how much kWh you are using.
It has a away mode which you can press when you are out.
It supports IFTTT. My alarm sends a email when I’m out or in. This email is picked up and sets it to away or home
Mode when I am in.
You can also get IFTTT to do location based triggers if you want.
So if you got modern vaillant yes. If your boiler don’t support weather comepnsation(it’s not a modern eco tec) tado is best.
Last time I looked it was Netamo. They have around 250 stations in the UK. I THINK that equates to over 350sq.miles per station. If you have the facility I'd suggest a hard wired or second choice an RF sensor. Internet weather is normally a calculation whereas your property might be exposed or sheltered and the input would be of less relevance. Weather information service providers can and will change.
Well I now have gained good knowledge of how smart thermostat work. What’s wrong in me advising ?It's because the OP has form. Classed here by professional members as "purveyor of muppetry and BS".
But, even a stopped clock tells the correct time twice a day.
