Hello all,

Is there anything I can do with this threshold?

The DPC is above where the entry is (you can see where it is from wet bricks) it's been made up to accomdate some level pavers (ramp up to that point) to the front and it has been exhibiting some water ingress.

Internally the sil the frame is sitting on does reach past the frame - I don't know why it would be constructed like that.

Would it be a good idea to add some drainage before the pavers meet the frame?

There is no cill. Is that the real problem?

If it's a cavity wall, damp should not be getting across.

I am not sure, the doorframe sits on 2 large precast blocks - it looks like water saturates through the joints where the precast blocks sit in the opening and meet the outer bricks.

These blocks are deep enough that they are visible inside by 20mm or so past the doorframe.

A photo or better description of the internal damp would help.
