It should have been an easy job, I've just replaced 2 wall lights in my living room. The new lights work fine, but now the 2 halogen spot lights in my living room bay window have stopped working.

Does anyone have any ideas what I have done wrong?

The wall lights are controlled by a one gang one way switch, the halogens by a 2 gang 2 way also used to control the light at the top of my stairs (which still works fine). As this was all working before I swapped the wall lights I'm currently assuming the switches are wired correctly

Cheers

Ollie

Have you altered ANYTHING ELSE other than the two wall lights you have changed?

Are the bay lights wall lights also?

You could check the neutrals are secure in the fittings you have changed and that one has not snapped off as you have pushed it back.

Did the wall light have a loop in live or/and neutral, if so very likely these where also connected to the living room bay lights. So very possible one or both are not correctly terminated.
