Wall Lights

What height from the floor, or rule of thumb eg 2/3rds, 3/4, up from floor, is used to position wall lights.

dont want to have them fitted then think, too low...........too high.

any guidance would be appreciated.

Depends on the style, uplighers, downlighters etc
