wall mounted vs floor mounted rads

Hi -we're looking to mount a rad to wall valves in a new extension but the only rads we can find of the length we need are floor-mounted - could we just get floor-mounted but with a different valve to connect to the wall? Thank you!

Can you explain in a bit more detail what you're trying to achieve / post some pictures?

Thank you - the plumber has run the pipework for the radiators in our new extension through the walls (ie the pipes don't come up through the floor) - but we're after a 140cm column rad (in black) and I can only find ones that look to be floor-mounted. We'll also be needing one of 100cm too, also floor-mounted. thank you
