I'm probably the least DIY inclined person...but have an electrical cabling query.

Due to the rubbish layout of my lounge, I need to trail an extension cable from my wall for about 7metres to a 10 gang tower socket.

I'm planning on having a Sky box, blu ray player and games console attached to the 10 gang.

Would a single gang extension cable be ok/safe for this? I'm guessing I'd need a 13 amp cable?

Any help would be very much appreciated!

It'll be fine, there'as no big loads in th list you gave.

I would question if it is wise having a 7 metre power lead trailed around the room.

Thanks - landlord won't update the wiring/sockets in the house. Having a 7m is the only way to do it (ridiculous I know!)...with some boxing/cable tidies!
