Hello all, help or advice please.
I have hung wall paper in the upstairs bedroom, like I have done many times before. I always allow for shrinkage in the vertical joints and butt up. For some reason the wallpaper has shrunk more than normal, and one or two of the vertical joints, there is a gap of about 1mm, very hard to see but my missus says she wants it fixed. Is there an easy way to sort this by wetting and stretching or will I have to take off and re-hang?

Thanks in advance.

Once its shrunk there's little you can do, the only thing that springs to mind is matching the correct colour in a specialist crayon/pastel to hide the seem a bit, they do exist but never bought them so couldn't tell you where to get them. Obviously use an off cut or spare piece to match up with.

Thanks dcdec, I may try a ``sliver`` of the same paper and try slot it it in, the gaps are 10 inches long at the most.

As an update, I ``pretended`` to fix the problem. I actually sat upstairs watching the football for a couple of hours used a bit of negative psychology, and she is convinced it is sorted. She is of the opinion that I spent several hours sorting the problem, so therefore it is.
