Walls with UPVC put on

Hi all,

I came across a house that had some kind of UPVC put onto external walls, something like you'll accept in Double glazed window. The entire wall was covered with this.

I think this is a excellent idea correct me if I'm wrong. For example if the external wall was in a very ban condition after pointing. Furthermore, it should prevent water penetrating the wall.

I wanted to know everyone’s thoughts on this because we were thing of doing something like this on our external wall in the back garden.

Yes, your correct, its upvc Cladding.

I'm just thinking rather paltering the wall's why not put this stuff?

Done quite a few for those who don't want have rendering or paint the walls again.

I must admit it can look a bit too much all over the wall depending what your property look like. Maybe do the top half ????
