Hey,

I have 20 low voltage spotlights that id like to replace. Im finding that either the transformers or the bulbs keep going wrong and I have to keep replacing them. I also find they get quite hot and think they might be costing me quite a bit in electricity.

I want to replace them for the most efficient bulbs, but they have to be dimmable. Any recommendations on what type of bulb too go for and any decent spark in the Herts area that might be able to do it for me?

Thanks

What is the budget? likely around £12 each for 6W dimmable GU10 to quote from the advert.

"Dimmable LED Bulbs should only be used with a specialized "Trailing Edge" dimmer switch that reduces current flow. Dimmable LED Bulbs will not work effectively if used with a conventional "Leading Edge" dimmer that operates with a high current flow."

There is little point in using extra low voltage with LED lights as precise voltage control is not required the add I was reading says 85-265v AC.
