I cannot seam to find the above items anywhere on the web to replace the old 240v spotlights in the kitchen.?

I am looking for a simple way of changing or converting the exisitng Gu10 spotslights to low energy or low voltage? The latter being preferably as cheaper (bulb replacements).

Any suggestions welcome & many thanks for looking.

I'm replacing my halogen GU10s with LEDs. LED GU10s can be expensive and many of the cheap ones don't produce enough light. The best one I've found so far is the "Philips master 7w" at £18 each. I prefer the light to 50w halogen GU10s and they're about the same brightness.

Compact fluorescent GU10s is a cheaper option. I prefer LED though.

Just getting low voltage halogen lights won't save you money. They use about the same power as mains voltage halogen lighting to get the same amount of light. If anything, they're slightly less efficient because of losses in the transformer.

Thanks Just ordered some low energy LED's GU10 off flebay for less than £30 inc pp I see hw they go before getting a new Plate 4 spotlight to use with them in future.
