Warts and Silver Duct Tape?

"The other group applied small pieces of duct tape to each wart. They were instructed to leave the tape in place for six days and were taught how to re-apply tape if it fell off. At the end of the sixth day, the patients removed the duct tape, soaked the wart in water, and gently debrided it with an emery board or pumice stone. The tape was left off overnight, then re-applied for another six days. This pattern was repeated for two months or until the wart resolved."

worth a try

Warts caused by a virus that lives in quite a few people but doesn't grow because the immune system is able to fight it. There was a girl on Embarrassing Bodies who had a mass of them on her feet, poor girl. A blood test found that she had a immune deficiency. After treatment for this the warts started to clear up.
The treatment the doctors use, spraying with liqiud nitrogen is a way of killing the virus and eventually the wart drops off, if you're lucky, because for me it didn't work. However, I did try out something else that did worked.
I put on 1 drop of petrol per wart twice a day and a small wart had dropped off in several days and a really ugly one on my finger had gone in a week. I guess using surgical spirit or ether may also work. But I couldn't see anything wrong in using lead free petrol. It does stink though so do it outside.
I am happy to tell you of this unique discovery of mine at this time because it may make a lovely Xmas present for you sufferers. I hope it works for you. :)

The duct tape only works if the wart is on your nose. Every old wife knows that! :)

I suppose it's the zinc in the sticky that does the job..
same as a plaster would..

it just causes the skin to soften ( like wearing a plaster does to the edges of a cut ) and then the debridement can scrape it off easier..

Is zinc good for fertility too. So, if you wrap duct tape it round your todger it could get over several things...infertility....impotence....and warts. Also, if you can put up with the sensual experience, wrap it round the end for a contraceptive.
Its a wonder they didn't market it before all those millions spent on viagra.

This silver duck tape is amazing stuff. Only £2.50 a roll in the boot sale. I must get some in case there is a possibility of a Christmas treat :) :) :)

I had one once in my very early teens on the inside of my index finger, no amount of biting it off worked, countless times i drew blood doing itbut it just grew back, i never did anything about it because it never bothered me but one day someone told me rubbing a banana skin on it works, so i tried it and then soon after it just healed over never to be seen again and never had one since :D

You might want to read up on electrical methods:

http://www.ehow.com/way_5968173_electronic-wart-removal.html

I made a device a while back (based on some online research) it applied something like 25v AC at about 18KHz through a pair of prongs which were applied to the skin. It worked for me.

Obviously, with anything electrical you have to be careful, this was about 3-5 years ago, I think you can buy devices to do this now.

But, it really does work, and I had already tried all the usual treatments.

The reason why I asked is that the missus has wart on a finger, she has tried some cream from the chemist, which worked but the wart has now returned.
She must have been looking on the internet and found something about the duct tape working, but i do like the idea of the electrical method of removal.
Do you think if I suggest a probe rated at 230/240v at 50hz, she would try it?
