People blinkered like you are the type who says it doesn't affect house prices, of course it does. I wouldn't be looking for a house next door to a migrant populated area or hotel. Same as I wouldn't look at a house next to a rough estate or drug problem area. House prices are dictated by the area, good schools and facilities along with low crime rates.

Rough areas there, yes, I highlighted the reason. Drugs, I don't know, but I'm sure there are. Not things I want next to me, but I don't think thats the issue with the highly valuable houses that are being sold in the area. And the average time they are on the market is not much different (if any) to the national average.

There’s a video of someone sneaking into the Canary Wharf hotel. I’ll say the food doesn’t look like 4 star, but it’s better than most of us get Monday-Friday. 3.5 stars

They also filmed all the old beds in the cellar. After that the beds went back into the hotel.

£81 a night, about £2400 a month. A single parent with 3 kids gets nothing like that.

Don’t forget on top of that the government pays for private catering, security etc!!
