Hi all,
Our Zanussi washer dryer has just tripped a breaker in our consumer unit.
When I went in to inspect there was a wisp of smoke in the air and a strong smell
The washer is 4 years old and has never had a problem before.
After resetting the breaker in the Consumer Unit it now starts ok, begins to fill, then jumps straight to draining.
All cables and sockets look fine.
Is it likely to be something in the washer iteslf??? It certainly wasn't overloaded and was only just starting a 30o wash when it went.
I think it tripped during the heating phase. Is it likely to be some sort of heater element?
Any ideas?
EDIT: Just checked the error code by pressing start & reset and got "E84"
Anyone?
