I’m trying to add a washing machine connection in kitchen and I’m concerned the 40mm waste pipe is too high and water from washing machine will be spilled out as I’ve only got a bit height left to the bottom of the worktop

can I use that adaptor from Screwfix, plug one end and use it as a single washing machine connector. Or is it something more purpose built for that.
The waste pipe goes straight out of the wall at quite a height around 75cm!

I can but I am trying to avoid using an extension as it is around 2.5m from washer to the sink there is also an extra unit in the corner on the right of the sink

Yes, the extension hose goes under the units then up the rear of the sink unit into the waste trap.

1. The white plastic fitting you show is designed to allow two appliances to use the same stand pipe. A stand pipe (that big red loop in your picture) has a trap at the bottom which provides a a water seal to stop smells coming back into the kitchen.
2. If you fit an appropriate trap under the sink you can connect one or two appliance wastes to it, and this uses the under sink trap to provide the function of the stand pipe.
3. Appliance wastes should be raised to just under the work surface level, then drop into the appliance waste spigot(s) on the trap.
4. Take a look at Mcalpine domestic appliance traps (e.g. WM11) to see what I mean.

this is how it will look, washer too far from sink to use with standard size hoses

Yes I’m concerned with extensions ! I like rigid stuff if the tenant doesn’t connect the extension well it will flood the kitchen!

I can plug the left side with a 32mm plug and use a straight length of 40mm pipe straight from the trap to this one so I don’t have to go through the sink. What do you think?

Probably the way I’m presenting options is not great lol. I’m trying to debate whether to go for the extension or do something else! Sorry Andy!!!

As long as the waste pipe runs freely then you shouldn't have an issue with the waste at that height. Are you planning to add the condensate into that too? In fact is the condensate connected to anything just now?

I would always recommend an appliance standpipe over a sink trap spigot connection. BTW you plug spigot on the V33WM with one of the blue spigot blanks, it normally comes with them -
