I am going crazy.i live in china and a guy came to put a new lock on my machine,took the old one off and it took me a month to get a new one.i cant get hold of him to come back.there are 3 wires 2 red joined together,and 2 brow separate.How do i find out which is live,neutral and common.i know what the components are in the machine so if you can help me to put them back i would be most grateful.its an 11 year old machine mechanical not electronic.many thanks for your help.

You may get someone else giving the precise answer you need so do not rush into anything, I am just trying to help & this may not be the correct solution.
