I'm about to add a washing machine twin spigot to the kitchen sink outflow pipe - where's the best place to put it, with respect to my water trap? Before it, or after it?

Separate trap can be quieter if you can or if you have open plan, as you hear the sound of water running in the plug hole with one that shares the sink trap. For the sake of a tenner more it can be worth it if you have space
