I am in the process of moving a washing machine to a new utility room on ground level. I will install a HepVo antisiphonic trap on the washer waste. The waste will feed directly into a gulley (not soil stack) which is on the opposite wall.
This means that I will need to run the waste (40mm) internally around 3 walls before it reaches the gulley.
I have no problem achieving the required vertical drop of 1.8-4.4mm/m. However, this configuration will give me a waste pipe approximately 5.5m long.
As I am using a HepVo trap (vented) and termination is in a surface gulley, will this work and conform to building regs?
