Anyone help me re. Creda 1100 washing machine (c1987)? Everything works fine except when it goes into spin mode, then the motor turns at normal (slow) spin speed and emits a loud buzzing noise (from the motor). Could this be a motor winding gone down or what? The brushes& commutator look OK.

make sure the belt from the motor is taught, other wise it sound like time for a new mc, the cost of a motor on a m/c that old what will go wrong next?
