Waste pipe to soil stack leak

Hi all,

I have recently noticed a leak between the soil stack and a waste pipe coming from the bath drainage (see pics). Unfortunately the joint is both under the bath and next to the toilet, making access difficult. I think the connection is solvent welded, which is a pain, but I'm not 100% sure so I've attached pictures to help identification (note: it look like the pipe runs uphill, but that's just a bad camera angle!)

Would anyone know the best way to attempt to fix this leak? I don't really want to have to pull the bath out unless absolutely necessary!

If you can't get access i would thicken solvent cement around the joint and push it into the joint as much as you can. Denso also does. Personally i would cut the pipe at an accessable point, make leaking joint good then put a straight connector on.

I might if I could see the pics. But you can't go far wrong wrapping with denso, just wear rubber gloves

I would go with a couple of fernco couplings, cut the pipe and slip one over the leak and the other one to join the pipe you cut.

Thanks all, is anyone able to identify it 100% as a welded connection rather than a push fit? I did try to remove the leaky pipe but couldn't seem to budge it. If it is, I'll probably try denso as suggested above, and failing that, use the fernco couplings as suggested by picasso. Thanks again!
