Hi, just a quick one.

Looking at running a basin waste through a non structural stud wall. Can I bore out a 40mm hole in 89mm stud work? Length is about 1.5m so will go through 3 studs. The build is obviously being checked over by building regs and I don't want to do anything wrong, cant find the info online.

Waste will go into a 90 and then drop into pan connector as space is limited.

Thanks in advance

If it’s non Structual it should be ok . But basin only requires 32mm waste pipe so if you drill say 34mm the smaller the hole obviously the better .
