Love how labour guys keep telling the public of the evils of private healthcare private education and selling off housing stock and the evils of private rents , Yet think fek all of benefiting from them all themselves .
Also don't forget that the one man bands are very very quiet at the moment and have a lot of time on their hands, and take any chance to bad mouth their biggest rival.

Stop generalising and assuming all one man bands are quiet. Any organisation relies on the skill of a few to carry the army of part changers. My neighbour's boiler was condemned by one of your fellow workers as having a 'crack in the burner' and gas line chopped at the boiler. The same boiler with cracked burner was reinstated by 'senior engineer' it is VERY easy to find faults with someone else's work yet overlook own deficiencies.
Have to say the programme was a disappointment. cannot see how someone could say an OF appliance was sound by just looking at it unless the testing was edited.
Superman, are you familiar with these back boiler burners? I mean, have ever held one of these little beasties in your hand or are your posted based on googled sites. I regularly service these boilers which includes cleaning and other times dismantling the burner. One burner has no gasket, other one has a black gasket that is graphite colour but yet to find any asbestos gaskets
the grafite gasket is eather a replacement or could be a later modal , manufactures will be quite happy to go through arcives.Gasright wrote

Nope they are the original gaskets and not a later model, if your wondering why i am so sure we had 5000 baxi back boilers on contract and i used to service ten a day for months at a time for years . And have fitted every part many times over that could be changed on these boilers
But as i said before why if they did contain any asbestos why would this mean boiler had to be changed ????
In fact it was 89 they where not allowed to use it from, Been involved in many recalls for asbestos in boilers but the baxi range of bbu where never in it .
I will still disagree with ya till you could put a link saying otherwise
