Water from windowsill damaging wall

Not sure if you can see in image well enough. The rear wall on the house we've bought is in very poor shape. I believe it has been caused by years of water dribbling from the bottom of the sill backwards on to the bricks. I've stimulated it with a dribbling hose.
Any suggestions of how to get the water to drip off vertically please?

That's the best one I've got until tomorrow. It's a Victorian stone sill
 
You need to form a drip or rectify a problem with the existing drip with a bit of silicone or a grinder
