water in tv aerial cable

Hi

i have a bad tv picture happened in 4 hours *poor signal* and have found water in tv aerial cable(connector corroded ) !! What is the best fix for this ?

some new cable would be a good idea. and make sure water hasnt travelled along the cable and into TV/sat box/DVD player etc.

how did it get in to start with? if you can use water tight connectors, use selfamalgamating tape

Will try some new sat cable cat100 ? and renew aerial too.

Not sure how water got into cable but all happened in about 4hours

Connector was corroded so its happened before/ongoing will replace everything upto tv or will i need a new tv soon too ?

it should have built up in the cable and not reached the TV, but depends on the cable run. very unlikely to get into TV.
