I've had a couple of incidents, of the workbench, in my workshop, being wet. The roof, is metal box section, with some insulation added latter. My workbench, is along the high end of the slightly sloping roof, and the roof has been in place for a decade or more, with no ingress happening before. The prevailing wind direction, is from the low, towards the high side of the roof - from the west.

My first idea, on discovering the wet bench, was that I must have spilled something, then I noticed it twice more. I finally settled upon the idea, that it was likely due to wind direction and rain. When it rains, and blows from the west - the rain flows over the lip, then tracks along the underside of the metal sheet, dripping onto my bench. What I've done to try to fix it, is form a sort of drip fold - I bent the very end of the metal channel down, the last 1/2".

So far - no more wet workbench. Worth keeping in mind, if you have a roof with slight fall.
