old cottage never had an internal stopcock. water used to enter
the kitchen and then upstairs to the bathroom. kitchen is now a
bathroom and bathroom is now a bedroom! dining room next to the
old kitchen is now the new kitchen. all the pipework in the new
bathroom is now buried/hidden. no idea where the mains water
entered. old water pipes are visible in the old bathroom upstairs. question is, do i main bond from there to the CU as it is the first
sign of pipework? also there is a small section of plastic then back to copper before the cold goes outside
to a new external oil combi boiler. should i link between the plastic?
incidentely the pipes make their way down beside the CU cupboard in plastic which i know is not ideal
