Hi guys, am running a few ideas round my head and thought I'd come here to ask a few questions.

I live in a mobile home and we currently have an electric shower. I'm looking to tile the bathroom and have been thinking of putting in a normal mixer shower. Now the downside to this is our hot water pressure is awful, takes ages if we're running a bath or looking to do dishes etc. Our cold water comes straight from the mains so the pressure of it is great.

My understanding is I would need to install a pump beside the hot water tank. Is there anywhere else I can install the pump as it would be handier for me to install under the kitchen sink.

Also can anyone recommend me a good pump at a good price, been getting it tough lately and can't really afford to throw hundreds of pounds at it.

Hope you can help

Pumps can be quite noisy and not that cheap.
I would suggest get yourself and unvented hot water cylinder.
You will then have mains pressure hot water and can get rid of the little
cold header tank for your vented hot water tank.
Check ebay you see a few of them going through at reasonable prices.

Being in a mobile the room inside my hot press is extremely minimal and would require me cutting out a lot of timber work for me to get it out. I'd rather just put a pump in if I'm being honest, would be a lot quicker and easier.

With an unvented cylinder, the hot water pressure and flow rate is dependent on what you get from the water mains. If there's a fast flow, with a lot of pressure from the sink tap, it's probably a good idea. The pressure may drop when your neighbours draw off water.
