hi guys,had a leak in the bathroom and now have a nice brown stain on the artex ceiling any ideas how to get gone ? i was told to use a car spray paint primar before painting over ? is this a wind up or wot ? any help much apprieciated !

The spray primer (white) is perfect for blocking water/smoke stains in smallish areas. much copied by polycell etc.. 
For larger area's we thin down some solvent based undercoat with white spirit and coat over the stained area .. allow to dry thro. then one / two coats of emulsion overall.

I just use oil based undercoat,, kills water/nicotine stains,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, dead!!!
